Ik wilde even een boek lezen waarvan ik van te voren wist dat: 1. het makkelijk zou lezen, 2. mij omver zou blazen, en 3. ik er intens van zou genieten. Met mijn vertrouwen in de schrijfkunsten van Rebecca Yarros pakte ik Onverwacht erbij, en ze stelde mij niet teleur. Ik heb genóten van Grayson en Sams verhaal. In het midden was er even een indut-momentje. Maar gelukkig herpakte het verhaal zichzelf niet veel later en las ik het in een zucht uit.

P.s. er komt nóg een deel in de Flight & Glory serie! Het vierde deel gaat over verder op het verhaal van Josh en Ember. Ik ben wel benieuwd hoe de epiloog uit Onverwacht hierin zal passen, áls Grayson en Sam in dat verhaal voor komen.

Beyond What is Given is the 3rd book in the Yarros Flight & Glory series and focuses on Grayson and Sam. These are characters from previous books but can be read as a standalone. All of these books are connected by a group of guys in flight school for the armed forces.  They’ve all been emotional and steamy. I enjoyed this one just as much as other ones. The only thing I didn’t love about the audio version of this one was the female narrator imitating the male character sounded so weird 😂 I loved the little epilogue in this one too. Trigger warning for sexual harassment/bullying. I believe there are two more books in this series!
