Viele Vorschusslorbeeren waren ungerechtfertigt: Die Charaktere unklar gezeichnet. Plot zwar nur zu einem Drittel vorhersagbar, aber auch die Kulissen wirken wie Papp-Aufsteller, was freilich an der Übersetzung liegen kann. Kleinere logische Fehler (z.B. eine Frau wurde am Shabbat letztmals gesehen, also dem Tag an dem "ihre Leiche gefunden wurde", so die Ermittlerin, wobei die Leiche Sonntagmorgen gefunden worden war...) Insgesamt nur mäßig fesselnd. Schade.

This was a great psychological thriller. It seems so innocent as it first begins. At the risk of not spoiling anything for anyone, I found (the first) Orna's story so compelling, and then just when you start not to like her because of her actions, Gil turns around and proves himself to be the problem. Definitely keeps you on your toes until the end.
