AHH. What the heck? I'm literally crying. Why was this book so good?? My heart hearts. I wish I had Poe's way with words to be able to describe these feelings. T.T
I thought that Poe and Landor were the absolutely perfect examples of bros.

BUT WHEN POE FIGURES EVERYTHING OUT AND SAYS THAT HE HAS NEVER FELT HEARTBREAK LIKE THE HEARTBREAK OF LEARNING OF LANDOR'S DECEPTION. And when he chides J. Allen and says that Poe is worth 100's of him and 1000's of himself. AHHHHHHHHHH

I really really wasn't expecting that twist and honestly, I wanted something different. Not because it didn't make sense with the story or because it was a bad twist but because

that means that Landor is the bad guy. He fooled Poe and the relationship felt so twisted even though as you're reading it, it feels like anything but that. And you see these two men that mean so much to each other realize that they can't continue their relationship. MY HEART WHEN LANDOR ASKED POE TO KILL HIM AND POE SAID GOODBYE AND LEFT INSTEAD. AHHHH LANDON JUST ADOPT HIM. THAT'S WHAT THE GENRE ALTERNATIVE HISTORY IS FOR.

This wasn't my normal genre but I'm SO glad that I read this. Now I'm ready to watch the movie. I hope Dudley Dursley does well as my dear Poe.
