I really loved this book! I feel like I’m going to be thinking of Lenny and wondering how she’s going in years to come. I loved the storyline and the characters. It reminded me of one of my favourite books Eleanor Oliphant. Such wonderful writing for a debut novel and I love to see another Melbourne bayside writer, inspired by Sally Hepworth to just do it and write her book. Such an inspiring story. Thank you

Despite tackling heavy topics, this book made me smile; and our protagonist Lenny Marks is so darn likeable; she was fleshed out and real in my head. The exploration of a thirty-something year old adult manging childhood trauma was told beautifully and with humour at times. Her personality and it's quirks - humorous at times, is reflective of the life she has had and fought to exist in.
