Zero!

Far less reiterative than the first volume.

SpoilerYagari makes his first appearance in this volume and that's honestly enough to make this 5 stars
We get to know a lot more about Yuki, Zero, and how vampires work in this universe. No part of this volume feels like filler, and it also manages to develop the story without ever being boring.

This was about as good as volume 1, I have noticed that the manga is a lot more well-paced than the anime and explains bits which the anime did not explain what I enjoyed. The artwork is still well done and I've enjoyed looking at the panels as they are starting to add more backgrounds to the panels and not just the white void.

I knew going in I wouldn't like Yuuki and I was correct still I still don't like her, I found her annoying and too much of a goodie-two-shoes for my taste and I know she won't change in the series if it's similar to the anime. It also does not help I know how it ends with the romance, which I am dreading.

I find it hard to work out what is going on and to differentiate the characters sometimes.

I'll just watch the anime for the rest of the story
