Overall very enjoyable murder mystery, I loved how the narrator shifted from person to person. Plus, it was a real page turner for me. But it also came with the usual flaws of a 2006 mainstream novel: casual sexism and cringey sex scenes between heterosexual characters. The main character, thankfully remained strong in the end. I’d also like to add that I am not a fan of
„the only gay character is also the one who is a bit pedophelic“-trope
. That  hopefully got less frequent in the last 16 years.
