I absolutely love this series. I never wanted to end because I just wanted to keep seeing more interactions between the Walsh family. I know all good things must come to an end, but I wouldn’t be mad if there was another Walsh family book.

What's the softest thing you can possibly think of? Blankets? Snow? Snow is soft, right? This book??? Everything about it made my heart ache in one of those ways that's oddly pleasant because it feels like your heart is just a few sizes too big for your body and everyone was so in love and happy and—

God, I love a good happily ever after.

And that's what this was. Really, really good.

Reading this entire series (and doing not much else while reading, let's be honest) was such an absolute delight and this family is everything I want out of a fictional family dynamic and, just to reiterate, everyone was so in love. Which is really my ultimate jam, let's be honest part two. I loved it. I loved them. I loved every single dynamic. I am a little bit sad that I have now read all the Walsh-focused books, but just as excited to dive into the rest of Kate's (I've read nine books, so we're definitely friends now, I can call her Kate) work.

I had an inkling that this wasn't new-to-me content so instead of buying it outright because I do love this series, I borrowed it from KU and sure enough, this is a novella that was packaged with the Walsh Brothers collection which I already had, along with other deleted scenes. Nevertheless, it was fun to visit with one of my favourite fictional families again.

A short novella picking up Matt and Lauren's story 6 years after they met. We find them now with a new baby, a new home and a post-baby dry spell that Lauren is determined to put an end to! It's not like Matt isn't having the exact same thoughts...
This book also has a collection of bonus chapters previously released in the author's newsletter. Lost of fun to catch up with things.
Definitely not a standalone and it introduces several characters that work in Lauren's school.
If you are like me and looooove an epilogue, don't miss this one!

Quick read to relatable content after the HEA for Matt and Lauren with a couple bonus scenes for some of our other characters. A perfect little wrap up for the Walshes.
