The first time that I read this I didn't now the importance of writing reviews. I'm rectifying that with the second time reading this. This series is exceptional. This want my favorite of the series, only because I didn't connect the way that I wanted to with Lily and Asher the way I did with other characters from the series. That being said, the author still crafted an amazing story and added more support to a foundation that is proving to be amazing. I love these characters.

It ends on a whopper of a cliffhanger about Bex

This book can be read as a stand-alone romance, but is part of the interconnectedSons of Templar MC universe.

I was searching for a book to read when I stumbled upon [b: Beyond the Horizon (Sons of Templar MC)] . Not wanting to read all of the books prior to this one in the series, I decided to treat it as a standalone—however, now that I’ve finished it, I plan to go back and give the rest a try.

[a: Anne Malcolm] has written a story that reminds me how much I love a good MC romance—doing justice to the trope with her developed characters, addictive plot, and quality writing.

—» Would I Recommend? If you love MC romances then you should love this one. Give it a try, even if you haven’t read any of the other books in the series.
—» Would I Read Again? Yes! Asher is a swoon worthy hero that I’d love to revisit when I need a break from dominating alpha love interests.

❝Being truly beautiful is when you’ve known suffering, fought demons at the depths of despair and managed to claw your way out. Managed to smile again. Managed to laugh, to live, to love. That’s eternal. That’s you.❞

I mean...come on.You can’t convince me that his words don’t make your heart pitter-patter.

The story of Lily and Asher to me is the most emotional due to grief. She loses her mom to a long cancer fight and leaves everyone when that happens. Asher and her had one night together before her mom sickness and had always still had a tethering. The book really is Asher convincing her to give thrm. Shot to fo this together. He has experienced his own grief and sees her spiraling. I loved Asher and Lily, but this was very one note of just grief. Bex her roommate and lucky would draw my attention more even more so at the end. I think Lily and Asher might be the most poetic biker romance. Asher showed her and told her constantly what he felt when he tried to be a part of her life again. The last 90% of thr book was crazy and srt up. Bex and lucky story perfectly and inhale a feeling this one is going to be amazing.

I found rating this one hard because I can't say that I enjoyed it, but I wasn't in DNF territory either. if it wasn't apart of the series, which I am enjoying, it would have been harder to finish. in my opinion, asher and lily's relationship definitely could have been more developed. and while I did connect with lily in some ways as an anxiety & asthma sufferer, I did not really like her. I definitely missed characters from the previous books in this one.
