This was a fantastic introduction to the sweeping Biblical canon and all of the authors/narratives/theology contained within. It was a good reminder of many themes I'm already familiar with, but introduced me to some new concepts as well. I highly recommend these lectures.

As someone who enjoys the Bible as an important work of literature (and not necessarily a literally true book), I appreciated this literary dissection of the various books. I found myself tuning out a bit during the analyses of the New Testament, if only because I was raised Christian and even with the deep dive analysis, it felt like a lot of stuff I had read or heard before.
