I listened to this as an audio-book and found that to be quite entertaining with all the different characters acted out by different narrators. My familiarity with this story was from the Disney movie, which was indeed pretty accurate to the plot of the book. But there was a bit more darkness in the book than I initially would have thought, it's a bit melancholy.
The story has a lot of sexist tones, but that seems pretty accurate for the times in which is was written (although, I did appreciate how both Wendy and Tinker Bell grew into their own a bit by the end of the story).

good classic, though far and away from perfect. Barrie has a different writing style than I'm used too but it's a fun, easy read.

I took my good friend The Bookworm home to Cheshire last week, and while we were there I asked to him to have a nibble at one of my favourite children’s books, Peter Pan, and pick out some particularly interesting passages

My favorite book. The voice is so unique and refreshing, it immerses you so deeply into the story. By the end of the book, the characters, despite relatively little character-building, seem like old friends. The setting between dream and reality allows for both truth and magic.
