–Wow, what a train wreck of a book. It’s jumpy, poorly edited (grammatical errors and spelling issues) and is just a thinly veiled excuse to whine about how Barbara Walters let Rosie down. Please, for the love of kittens don’t read this book.

Well, hey--any book is great if it's read on the beach, right? Don't judge...
In all seriousness, though, I did actually like this book; the topic of which is: Rosie's return to the spotlight on The View and her feud with Donald Trump (or, more precisely, his one-sided feud with her). I felt it was honest, and it passed an hour or two on a lazy day. Also, Rosie donated all of the net proceeds from book sales to her charity "rosie's kids." Star gained.

Rosie does a brilliant job with this book, touching from subject to subject. It flows together so nicely afterward you feel like you just sat down and had a cup of coffee with her and she related these stories to you in conversation. She makes celebritydom a reality, and not just a fantasy. She shows the good and the bad. She expresses things I've wanted to express and never found the words for. I did a lot of highlighting in this book. She is definitely one of the most down-to-earth people who has ever made it to television. Through all the chaos, judgements, media frenzies, she's managed to keep hold of what matters. I adore her in everything she does, and this book only confirmed that for me.

This is a very, very poorly written book but it is by and about a pretty interesting person and has a few interesting ideas so it doesn't completely suck.

Talk about quick-I just read this book on my lunch break. Saw it on the New Books cart, read the back and thought: "Do I want to read about drama on The View? HELLS YES I DO." If you want to hear someone talking shit about Babs Walters, this is your book.

Interesting look into the psyche of a good-hearted yet troubled celebrity. If you care about that sort of thing.

Fairly quick read. Gives one of the inside stories of a "news" story that was splashed all over the media.
