This was actually fairly decent for a book I had to read for my grad classes. Most of them are incredibly boring, but this wasn't too bad!

I'm sure it's good that I read this book, but it took me forever and I can't say that I really enjoyed the process.

Very well-written book about how to think about the CCSS. Giving it 4 stars b/c I wish there would have been more lesson examples or an appendix.

A well laid out description of the steps it takes to carry out the Common Core, from Caulkins' perspective. It's clearly written, and makes a lot of sense.

An accessible read that starts the conversation on where the Common Core will be taking education and what still needs to be discussed.

This book, although not focused directly on my dicipline, gave me an invaluable idea on what the Common Core standards are and although not a how to, it did give resources and advice on the steps to take to make my school successful under the standards.
