Awful. What is the author's weird fetish-y obsession with incest? Why do I keep doing this to myself?

I still want to read the next and see what happens but I really don't think anything happened in this book.. and I really don't like Simon, I think he's pointless. But yeah nothing happened, could have probably skipped to the 3rd book and with maybe a snippet of information from this one and still understand what's happening.

Definitely prefer the first book in the series over this one.

Spoiler clary and jace ... idk how i feel. it's weird to me, even tho ive seen the show and movies and i THINK its going to go a certain way. All the lil events that happened were so fun

maya and simon... are they gonna be a thing?

Well then. I spent a lot of this book moved - often to swearing at it for tropes and, "Be *censored* honest..." But that last is kind of a refrain for me, even if this book did give it seventeen kabillion extra nudges. Well done, even within the trope confines.
