I waited a bit too long to finish this run, mostly due to being disappointed in Mikel Janin’s absence from the artist team. However, I liked the ending. Dick Grayson’s sass and snark is always fun, and whatever superpower he has to create such electric chemistry with whoever he meets has stayed consistent the whole series. Couldn’t fully appreciate the actual plot, as I’d forgotten a lot from previous volumes.

What a fart cloud of an ending to a series that was super fun.

A fair wrap-up of Dick Grayson in the Spyral world with a decent introduction to where he is headed next in Nightwing Rebirth. But, being new to the DC Comics universe and characters, I really suffered in reading this saga. Lots of cameos with characters I knew (because how can you live and not know who Batman is?!) but also cameos from many with which I was not at all familiar. I enjoyed it without the foundation but I definitely think, if you have a background in DC characters and storylines, more enjoyment can be gained from reading this five volume saga.
