I love the world that Chambers has built in this story! I keep finding myself thinking about this cheerful, solarpunk future and wanting to just exist in the world.

This book is beautiful, warm, and healing. It's about exploration and understanding and existence and tea and every single word held me warmly.

LOVED this! really enjoyed reading about Dex’s travels, beautiful descriptions of the natural world (mosses and mushrooms), character uses they/them pronouns. mosscap the robot made me laugh aloud.

I love Becky Chambers but her novellas are weak. She doesn't have enough time to fully develop the characters and the reading experience falls flat. Very disappointed.
