The first 40% really dragged on for me, otherwise it would have been an easy 5 star (definitely 100ish pages too long). Kristin Hannah writes beautifully and tells stories so well. Definitely an emotional read.

The Nightingale follows the lives of Vianne and Isabelle, two sisters who face the Nazi occupation of WWII France in different and moving ways. Highly recommended!
