3.5 stars. Jill always manages to write an enjoyable story with a lot of interesting interconnected characters. The main couple's story fell a bit flat for me though. Dex' character development felt a bit forced and I never really got a good grip on Molly's character. I loved the side characters, especially Frankie and Henry's cute story.

Fun, lighthearted. I liked the "become guardian of a baby" aspect, the author got most things right on with that. The story between the two main characters was great. A lot of other characters were included, those characters didn't relate as well to me. In other books by Mansell, the multiple characters viewpoints combine to create one cohesive story. In this book, each story arc seemed to stay pretty separate.

So this is my second book I have read from Jill Mansell. I had high hopes, because I loved her another book. This one wasn’t it for me. For me personally it was really confusing getting to really know the characters. Sometimes I had an imagine in my head with a specific age for that character, but later on in the book there appearance and age didn’t match at all.

I am glad that I have read the book, but I will not read it a second time.

I got this book based on a recommendation from a friend, normally I like to know what a book is about before reading, however with this one I decided to just take the plunge and read it to see what would happen. I found it funny witty and heartwarming and surprisingly I found it exciting not knowing what's the book was about before starting it. I enjoyed the book and it has encouraged me to think about reading more by this auther
