Tristan Fucking Miles y'all!
I love a man that goes after what he wants even when who he wants comes with little demons that almost killed him. 😂
I loved the good nature relationship Tristan and Claire formed while out of the country. I loved the funny, witty and sexy banter they had but most of all i loved seeing Tristan fall in love, not just with her but with her kids too. Another thing i loved about him was how he didn't shied away from his feelings and wasn't afraid to speak on them with his brothers. He knew Claire was special and he did anything in his power to get her.
Claire was a hard one to love at first. I liked her a lot but then she would be very judgemantal based on nothing basically so it was hard getting behind what she was saying but that did changed along the way, i just wish she wasn't so hard on him when she didn't had any facts on how "bad"  Tristan or the Miles family was.
So to be honest the last 150 pages of this book was what made a 6 Star book. The amount of times i cried in those pages is unreal... I just couldn't handle the relationship Tristan had with Claire's kids, it was so damn beautiful and heartfelt that i just cried and cried... and cried.
The conflict was not it for me i confess. I understood Claire irrational decision but i also didn't. Like Tristan pointed out, she was being so damn selfish and she made everyone miserable including me. I so didn't loved that. After talking to a friend about it, i'm more amenable to that situation but it was still a hard pill to swallow. I did love how that situation was resolved by the kids and i loved it.

I obviously loved the kids. They are amazing, even Harry 😂. I loved how well they fitted in the Miles family and i can't wait for more of them and obviously more of Tristan and Claire.

It's three stars in the first 40% of the book because I'm not a fan of the writing style. It had a rough start but eventually, the MCs win me over when they discuss the dynamics of their relationship.

There are so many tender moments with the children that I can overlook the amount of spicy scenes that tend to be too repetitive and don't add too much to the plot. Of course, you'll suspend your disbelief when reading billionaire romance but... Two minors flying to an international country with no adult supervision is stretching it a bit too much.

Claire is the CEO of Anderson media and is struggling to keep it afloat. It was her husband's company and has been running since he passed away. On top of running her company, she is raising 3 boys by herself. Tristan is interested in taking over Anderson Media and acquiring it for Miles Media. Let's just say their first meeting did not go very well. Then they became reacquainted in Paris...

This was a cute book. Claire and Tristan had incredible chemistry. I loved the evolution of Tristan's character and the relationship he developed with the boys. He was way over his head with Claire and her boys, but he did everything he could to work to earn their trust and seamlessly integrate himself into their lives without trampling on their father's memory. The way he took them under his wing and formed such a close emotional bond with them was so beautiful. He became such a loving, caring, and selfless man. He knew exactly what he wanted and fought so hard for it.

My heart broke for Claire. She has been through so much and is so overwhelmed. She fought hard to save her company and is incredibly persistent and determined. I hated how wishy washy she was with Tristan's heart, but I also understand how torn she must have been. She was trying to find a balance between moving on and still respecting her late husband's wishes and legacy. I wish she would have taken the time to figure out exactly what she wanted before putting everyone through so much turmoil, but again, she was overwhelmed with so many conflicting emotions.

um…I WANT MORE.

• Tristan’s relationship with Claire’s 3 boys (also now his boys) was something so special and adorable. *Also their first interaction together was hilarious.* Tristan is just about everything I’d want in a partner. He’s attentive, caring, trustworthy, smart, and a great father/father figure.
• Idc what y’all say, some of y’all just didn’t understand Claire like I did. Her grief/guilt was SO important and just SO real. I wasn’t mad at her for how she reacted to things…I mean she’s known her ex-husband since they were in college. I’d imagine that she’d have the hardest time truly moving on and accepting the fact that there is someone equally as amazing (maybe even more so) that’s there for her and her kids and loves all of them unconditionally. Yes, she has her flaws, no character is truly flawless…but she is a mother and a widow.
• Claire and Tristan’s relationship was just so RAW and REAL. Communication wasn’t perfect, but it was natural and flowed well. They had super INTENSE chemistry and the tension???? Yeah.

This book had me laughing out loud. Claire’s kids are hilarious and I love her house so much. It was also deep and emotional and the conversations on love after loss and grief made me sob. The single mum trope may be a new favourite of mine.

Oh boy, do I love Tristian.
The relationship that forms with Claire’s boys is probably the best part of this book. I felt bad that I didn’t love Claire’s character very much.

This was so sweet, and I thought it was better than the stopover. :)
