This book had me laughing out loud. Claire’s kids are hilarious and I love her house so much. It was also deep and emotional and the conversations on love after loss and grief made me sob. The single mum trope may be a new favourite of mine.

I LOVE THIS BOOK WITH MY WHOLE HEART. It made me want to laugh and cry within lines of each other. I Love Claire, Tris, and all the boys. I am so happy I took a chance on this book because I love it.

This book was much better than the first one! It was still a bit aggressive in the beginning, and I’m genuinely wondering if men in Australia go around calling women bitches regularly. That’s my biggest annoyance with T.L. Swan; at least this main male character called her bitchy, instead of straight up calling her a bitch, but that’s still a red flag for me. I’m also not sure how many people go around pinching the bridge of their nose to diffuse, but I’ve never seen it, and she uses this expression entirely too much. The rest of the story was pretty damn great! I laughed so hard when Tristan was telling Jameson about his first encounter with the boys!

Tristan Miles, Miles brother #2 is imo (at the moment) better than Jameson out of the two brothers I’ve read so far. Tristan and Jameson both go after what they want. However, I feel as though Tristan wears his heart on his sleeve. Falling for a single mom of 3 boys wasn’t in his plan at all. After some very funny moments with the boys (I think about the first meeting scene often). He and the boys understand what they can bring to each others lives.
