I didn't love this one, but I didn't hate it either. Books 1-3 were sold as a trilogy, so the slight cliffhanger ending was a bit of a surprise. Some of the resolutions that we did get seemed a little too easy. The book starts with Jet reunited with her daughter Hannah and living in Uruguay. Unfortunately, the bad guys find her again, and she has to fight her way out and try to turn the tables on them. There's a mysterious character from her past who returns to help out. I liked the action and the book definitely had its moments, but overall it was just OK.

Vengeance is the third installment in the Jet series by Russell Blake. In this installment, Jet has settled into a “normal” life and is raising her daughter only to get sucked back into the field to diffuse a terrorist plot and finish off the pesky Russian contingent that is hell bent on destroying her. In typical bad ass fashion and with the help of an old ally (Alan), Jet finds out the truth (or most of it) and handles those trying to kill her. And the way this installments ends let’s you KNOW that danger is still lurking and working to destroy the “normal” life Jet is trying to create for herself and her daughter.

I enjoyed how this story is told from multiple perspectives that seamlessly blend together to make the overarching story more compelling and complex. The Jet series is fast paced and action packed; I can't wait to read Reckoning!
