This entire book takes place inside a car, but other than that, I loved it. Twist I didn’t see coming and kept my attention. I honestly don’t think Riley Sager can do why wrong.

I was really enjoying this book up until the midway point. I loved that Charlie was a totally unreliable narrator, but things went south with the “twist” (the 1st one). I guessed both twists well before they happened and that always bums me out.

A fave book of 2023 so far. The ending was so a bit unexpected. The main character could be a bit daft at times, but it was fun to see the story play out

This book was pretty enjoyable! Fast-paced, action-packed. Lots of twists and turns. I did, unfortunately, call the twist in like the first chapter, but I still enjoyed myself.

I will say the FMC is insanely frustrating and incredibly naive (most) times. She spends so much time trying to get away, only to flip everything halfway through the book. I also don’t love when narrators mislead their writers? No spoilers, but you’ll get this if you read it.

Not my favorite, but I sped through it and I like Riley’s stories regardless of his dumber FMC.

This is my third Riley Sager book that I tried. Sad to say I was dissapointed, again. The writting itself is good, and I always seem to really enjoy the first third of the book. This one really seemed promising and I was pumped to finish it. But, like all Sager endings the plot twists and turns are forced, off the map and plagued with enough tiny holes that the entirety of the story can't hold water. Still, I plan on giving the last book I own of Sagers a try. I see so much potential that I'm probably unwarranted in my hopefulness that there is a "right" Sager book out there for me, but I'm making one last ditch effort. I feel like a chick that excuses all the red flags and stays with the wrong guy. After this next one that is it though. I'm breaking up with Sager for good. I swear. Lol
