"Her storm will never cease." - Amirah Mohiddin

She's Lost Control is an anthology of 28 stories and poems written by women horror writers. I had read a couple of these authors before, but I was introduced to several I hadn't read before, which was awesome. This was kind of an uneven anthology for me, and I kind of had a hit or miss experience. While there was a good amount of content I liked, I struggled with quite a bit of the anthology.

My top 5 stories were Below the Dripstones by LL Madrid, The Black Wallpaper by Cynthia Pelayo, Magdala Amygdala by Lucy A. Snyder, We Were Supposed to Be Happy by JAW McCarthy, and Strangely Familiar Demons by KT Jayne. My top 3 poems were The Witches by Madeline Ticknor, Dinner Time: The Consequences of Savages by Stephanie M. Wytovich, and Effective Ways to Dry-Erase by Alex McKelley.

Although I didn't love a lot of She's Lost Control, I would still say that I had a positive experience as a whole since there were still so many that I enjoyed. As always, I'm happy about finding new authors to check out, too!
