Really relaxing on audiobook! Like a family drama but this was more financial business drama than crazy emotional stuff. I appreciated the story and the characters, though some POVs were more fleshed out than others. My fave was Jackie.

This story, about a large Irish American family, was a great family drama. Full of secrets and family angst, I enjoyed following the Brennan family as they came to terms with the consequences of their actions. Highly recommend.

Solid 3.75 stars. Quick, easy, fluffy, just what I wanted after reading Outlander since last July.
It held my interest, kept me turning pages - honestly at some points I couldn’t put it down - but I found that wanted a little bit more substance and a little bit less predictability. I saw the ending coming from a mile away, which isn’t categorically a bad thing, I just like my books a little twistier.
BUT. It was fun, pretty engaging, I liked the characters, and I do love a good family drama, as long as it’s not my own. Would be a fantastic beach/vacation read!

I always love a good family drama. This was a good story, but I knew how it was going to end like halfway through it… still enjoyed it!
