This one was a let down for me: it was too short and a bit too stereotypical without any substance.
Her being naive but curious girl and him being a domineering, mysterious  (criminal?) man luring her in are character's tropes that I enjoyed but here they were luckluster. She was developing tropes (that I adore) but it was like watching puppets. I was not invested.
I also didn't like how the hero seemed to want one thing at the beginning and at the end nothing was resolved. The latter half was very messy. The be autor wanted to write something short and build interest and mystery for the hole series but this resulted in a confusing ending and an unsatisfying romance.

So: all the tropes that I love but a mediocre author

Lured, provides the background to the start of Team Zero and some insight on Eloise! Who knew that her parents had some an impressive and romantic start. As usual Rina Kent's writing leaves you craving more. I read this in one evening it was soo good! The characters are complex but very entertaining.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

1st Reading: 15th June 2021
Rating: 3 out of 5 (It's just pretty decent. I don't hate it but I also can't say I love it)

This is the book where I don't know when the main characters actually fall for each other.

The physical attraction is definitely there from the first time they noticed each other (or more like Dominic noticed Camille). They hooked up several times and it becomes a habit not a one-time thing anymore. Then, suddenly they said 'I love you' and wham bam bam they want to settle down together and get married but there's a plot ( a very little plot ) that cockblocked them. There is a mystery plot in this book and it's not the ending. The ending is still not completed yet. This is just basically 90% debauchery scenes + 5% stupid scenes + 5% plot. I finished this book in 1 hour.

This book is already unpublished by Rina and I can feel how this book is not a match to the other Rina's books such as RES and other duets. At least, this is a great start for Rina.

Oh my goodness! I am in absolute love with Ms. Kent's writing. I am deeply and hopelessly Lured by her characters and their stories. I do not want to give any spoilers… the plot was amazing. I was and am so invested in Dominic and Camille! Intense and so deeply satisfying. Ms. Kent's series will be on my TBR and to be re-read list until I tire of reading them over and over! 5+++++++ Stars!
