Complex feelings.  I enjoyed some elements but was put off by the language about other people. I think maybe I like the book I imagined before reading it.

I've seen The Elegance of the Hedgehog popping around over the years, yet only now decided to read it. I kind of wish I picked it up sooner because this was so so so good!!!! It's complex, thought-provoking, with likable characters (even though they can be off at times), and exquisite prose!! This novel is an absolute gem that almost made me cry!!
