It's Ok, tough the title made me think ice cream would be a bigger part of the story than it was.

My Cone and Only is now my favorite Susannah Nix book! And I know I just said that about her last book Elementary Romantic Calculus but it’s true! These are both my favorites! Thank you to Susannah Nix for the free review copy. And you could definitely start right here - this is the start of a new series about the King siblings. But I loved meeting Wyatt and Andie in ERC and suggest starting there!

Wyatt and Andie have been friends forever - but how do you take the chance to move to something more? Especially when Andie’s brother is Wyatt’s best friend. If they tried dating and it went wrong, it would mess up their whole dynamic.

I love Andie and Wyatt and this whole story. Susannah Nix has built a whole small town full of amazing characters. What are you waiting for? Scoop yourself some ice cream and sit down with this book!

Love this story so much !! Very entertaining and the love between the main characters was so sweet and swoony !

Main character went on a tirade about how she doesn’t get why women “cake their faces” with makeup. Very much “not like other girls” vibes and I’m not about that in MCs.

I’m a sucker for a good friends to lovers story and this one was super sweet. Andie and Wyatt have been pining away for each other for years, so when they finally admit their feelings for each other, things get real (and spicy!) pretty quickly. I could feel the love and devotion between the two of them, and that’s the most important thing to me in a romance.

The big climatic problem was a little silly (aren’t they always?) but I liked that there was some owning of that at the end. I won’t give spoilers, but sometimes irl we make big deals out of things that aren’t actually big deals, so some self-awareness from the characters when they’d been a little ridiculous was nice, and not something you often find in a rom-com.

I was a little surprised just how much I enjoyed this book. Would definitely recommend.
