3.5 stars

This is a book I can read over and over again and not get sick of it and probably enjoy it more and more each time.

EDIT: Clearly I was wrong. Once seem to be enough.

I'm going to get myself the hardcopy and pretend like i've never read this before.

EDIT: What hardcover?

I love the heroine. She's quirky without shove-it-in-your-face kind of quirky.

The hero is so fucking swoon worthy.

I'm in love.

Sarah Hogle, keep writing hero's like Wesley and I will forever be grateful.

This isn't a book you think too hard about. All you need to do is curl up with your favourite beverage and snacks and enjoy the sweet sweet ride.

Okay, this review is a mess. I give up.

Btw, I'd have given this 5 stars if there was an epilogue. Still salty about that. For now.

more of a 3.5! really liked how this avoided the usual third-act conflict you see in most contemporary romances :-)

• another big flop. This feels like a book written by a teenager about 30 year olds. The writing and the relationship were incredibly immature and the fmc put up with so much shit from the love interest because he has social anxiety and a list of other issues that he doesn’t share with her until it’s waaay too late.
• the gist of the story is a woman gets catfished by her “friend,” and then inherits a house from her dead aunt and the catfish picture guy is the groundskeeper and they inherited everything 50/50.
• he is supposedly the grumpy sunshine trope but he’s honestly just kind of a rude asshole. He uses his social anxiety as an excuse to be rude and not speak to people, won’t go in public for anything, and they planned a trip to Scotland with her, doesn’t tell her he’s claustrophobic so he freaks out and leaves her on the plane alone… and she calls and tells him it’s okay I love you. Like. Get fucking real lmfaoo.

Sarah Hogle goes on my list of authors that I would read anything they write. You Deserve Each Other was one of the most funny and charming romances I've read last year and now Twice Shy climbs the list as one of the most adorable romances I've read this year.

If you need a proper definition of the word SWEET, this is it. It's this book. It's so sweet I can almost taste the sweetness. It's the sweetest, most adorable book I've read in a long time. Let's say it's a kind of book that will put a big and bright smile on your face even on a bad day. That freaking amazing.

These characters are so precious. They made my heart flutter, made me laugh out loud, made me go awwww at least hundred of times. And Wesley. WESLEY NEEDS TO BE PROTECTED AT ALL COSTS!

If you're looking for something as sweet and delicious as chocolate, you can't do better than this book. Only a bite of this sweetness or a page in this case and you'll be hooked. I devoured it in a sitting. It's that good. Read it.
