The acknowledgments of this book say it is 90% Maluma and 10% Despacito, which coincidentally describes the makeup of my body for the past 2 years, so did I inhale this book? I did. Aiden was the most delicious man candy from the moment he stepped on the page. Columbian pretty boy? Yes, please. I'd already imagined Maluma in my mind before I realized the author was also envisioning him. That he had been a stripper and an escort were well handled, and although I was nervous throughout that his past was going to rise up to ruin the romance that was blooming, I wasn't worried about he was double-dipping, so to speak. The chemistry between Faith and Aiden is convincing and hot from the minute they lay eyes on each other, and it's very fun to watch them slowly come to recognize that they've found something more than a one-night stand in each other. Seriously hot read.

I wasn’t engaged with the story at all, and the narrator for the MMC made me want to peel my skin off inch by inch rather than continue listening.

It took me maybe 3/4 of the book before I was really into Aiden and Faith's romance. For the longest I was really 'blah' about them as a couple, so it took me a while to read it but then all of a sudden it clicked. It clicked a bit late, but it did click. Same as with Stripped, I felt that the story could have used some more detail or description in places; feelings were beautifully descriptive but a lot of other things were pretty vague sometimes. All in all though, I loved both characters and their personalities and histories.

Easily one of my top reads of the year because I never stopped believing in Aiden and Faith. They were hot and steamy, and yet at the same time, they spent time exploring each other in ways that seemed authentic; they were well-rounded characters.

Yeah, some of it was a bit predictable, but that's okay. That's not why we're here. We're here for the dynamic between two people -- and in this case, that includes Aiden and his dancer family -- and that worked.

Almost impossible to put down. An effortless, fun read and I'm now a Zoey Castile fan girl.

I read and loved Stripped, but Hired is so different in its slow and very character focused romance. It was like going on dates with a book that cared for me and held me when I needed to be held. I recommend this for fans of soft books and softer heroes.

Yes to cheesy, feminist rom-com novels. Castile’s got a really fun series based on make erotic dancers and sex workers which are fun to listen to in the car. I like Hired, but the first in the series, Stripped, is still my favorite.

I think I liked this even better than Stripped! Aiden and Faith just jumped off the page. They were so alive to me. I loved them, I loved their pasts and their real adversity there. I loved Aiden’s found family, and how Faith’s mother grew too even though she was hardly on the page. I loved this book, and I love this series.

And because I KNOW Zoey Castile has a soft spot for Montana, we’re going back there again next. I CAN’T WAIT.
