Some great stories here of a young David - and also of meeting many influential people. The writing style delves into a lot of tangents and generally wasn’t anything special. However a lot of books merely treat the early years as a footnote, and getting to read firsthand accounts from someone so close to David during this critical point is fascinating. I particularly love all the antics they got up to in their ambulance.
