3.5 stars for the 2023 reread - perhaps the most iconic piece of young adult writing in history is the month chapters (Iykyk)

This isn’t my favorite in the series because I’m firmly team Edward but it still scratches the itch

SO good (almost as good as the first book). I'm excited for the next!

I'm torn between
SpoilerJacob
and Edward, but I'm leaning more towards Edward because 1) they already have a history from the first book and 2) I think
SpoilerJacob
should stay more as a friend.

(I just put the spoilers in because I'm not sure if I should reveal who he is)

3.5 stars. There are some decent things about this book, and I do love Jacob so much. But it drags endlessly, I found myself bored and wishing to get to the end as I read. Not to mention, I understand Bella's despair, and it is described in accurate detail... but that doesn't make it any more entertaining to read. She is insufferable. There were parts of the book that I like. I love the werewolves. But it's just not as fun as the first one.

I can't believe I'm being sucked into this god-awful series, and yet I do little to stop it.
