In my mission to read all of the DiscWorld books, I was reluctant to read this book after reading The Color of Magic because I had greatly disliked The Color of Magic, and this book is the next in the series, and continues to follow the same characters as the previous. I needn't have worried. The Light Fantastic is much more like the other DiscWorld books I've read. Very silly humor throughout the entire thing, a clear plot line, and satire in heaps. Having just been disappointed by the previous novel made this one even sweeter. Mr. Pratchett definitely found his voice when writing his second DiscWorld novel, and I enjoyed every minute of it.
