I had a little bit of a hard time getting into the book but once I got into it being a character study I was more interested.

I also could kind of guess the ending based on the characters being introduced. There was still a slight twist once I got to that last chapter though. 

Great for people who like bad people doing bad things basically. 

Wish I had been warned about the child sexual assault that would be described though.

What an upsetting and disturbing read. Not sure what else to say but that was not an enjoyable experience. I usually like absurdist/dark fiction and this was extreme even in that genre. Hugely graphic description of CSA that comes out of nowhere. Would not recommend.

Suspenseful, creepy, disturbing, enthralling, shocking…
But my next book will definitely be something more lighthearted!
