Have you always wanted to know all you could about unicorns? Look no further and grab this gorgeously illustrated book!

I am a big fan of unicorns, and so I couldn't resist this book when I saw it on Twitter. I looked inside of it with a preview and fell in love even further. Order placed. Amazon get to sending it. And then it was in my hands and I was just in love with the shininess of it all.

The book is told from the POV of the current head of the society, whose name I already forgot, sorry dude. They will tell us all about where unicorns live (apparently woodland unicorns are all about living near me (yay!)), stories about each of the different kind of unicorns (like Storm Chasers who love storms, or the Water Moons who live on/in the water (and even they have variants)). We will learn about the first two unicorns, how they were created and how they started a world full of unicorns. We learn about various brave people who are closely connected to unicorns. It was magnificent and I have to say that I loved the randomness of it all. I was at first worried everything would just be stuffed together in groups. Yes, I love the stories but I don't think I would have been able to stand it all clustered together. Instead you get everything in a lovely random order. Stories, facts, alphabets, illustrations, food, and more.

The book is amazingly illustrated. Really, I just had to take a moment at times to just soak up all the loveliness and see all the details that were found in each of them.

I would recommend this book to everyone. And remember to believe!

A beautiful book, with magical descriptions and stories that really caught Violet’s imagination. She’s ready to write her own version for dragons. Would make a lovely gift for any unicorn enthusiast.

Saw this on the shelf while getting some resources for a cryptid program at my library and of course I had to take it home. Adorable, beautifully illustrated, and rich with details - a gorgeous “field guide” for unicorn-crazy middle graders.

This is such a magical book and just the kind of book I would have loved back in middle school. It details the history of The Magical Unicorn Society, an (imaginary) organization started way back in 1577 by Luca di Bosco and Alessandra Massima. The history of the organization is fully fleshed out and realized within the book, which I just love.

The book also details different types of unicorns, like the Water Moons, who make their home underwater, and the Ice Wanders, who are found at both the North and South Poles and communicate via bright lights in the sky. Phipps also explains what unicorns eat and how to communicate with them.

The illustrations in the book are lovely. They absolutely set the mood and add so much charming detail to the delightful prose.

This is a beautiful book, and a quick read.

I received this book as a gift from my co worker for my birthday after she heard me say I liked unicorns ONE TIME. I guess that’s not bad to be associated with though, considering.

At first when I read this book I was sad and worried for the author (for obvious reasons) but then I realized I’m 23 and was reading the book as a 23 year old. You can’t. You have to read this book through the eyes of a child. One who is innocent, pure, and most likely who unicorns will appear to.

After that, I enjoyed it much more and let myself get lost in the world of unicorns for a while. I thoroughly enjoy the magic and especially the story of the Water Moons and Woodland Flowers.

I recommend this book for people who are looking for that childlike innocence and awe once again who may have lost it. Also, unicorn lovers, obviously.

By the way, my Unicorn
