LMFAO I did not expect the NOVELLA, out of all the books in this series, to be my favourite one??? But this was so cute, fun and wholesome I loved it.
When Rossi is propositioned to hook up by a hot guy at his graduation party, he goes for it. He is straight but that's just a college experience, right? When it ends up being the hottest blowjob of his life, he can't get the encounter out of his head. He certainly does not expect to see Tyson again... at work. Turns out they'll both be interning at Rossi's dad's finance firm. Fun!
Tyson was adorable, unapologetic and so damn fun. He is openly bi, knows what he wants and goes for it. He did not think big softie Rossi would be open for more than their stolen moment at graduation. But Rossi is the type to just accept things in stride and he is attracted by Tyson... a lot. And that means he is going to go for it.
My favourite moment is when Rossi (or Gian) invites Ty at a night out with high school friends, and when Tyson dresses "safe" to not shock anyone's sensibility, Gian is like please be yourself and don't try to fit anyone's expectations (~ you're perfect as you are ~ and they WERE NOT EVEN DATING THAT WAS THEIR FIRST OFFICIAL OUTING TOGETHER) that was so hot. They just... like each other. And spending time together. It's a novella so we don't see them do a bunch of stuff and a long development, but it worked so well. It was the best parts I liked in the full-feature novels, without the awkward drawn-out drama. Literally perfect. The banter, the kinda pining, and the parents pretending they're not seeing right through their bullshit... I had SO MUCH fun.
And I guess I'm officially done with this series! That was a ride, but I'm so glad it ended with this story <3

Super cute novella! Rossi & Tyson work so well together. I love that they hooked up once and then found themselves thrown together again. Rossi’s quick & easy acceptance of his sexuality is also the best. Tyson truly being himself the whole time is fantastic!

Super nice novella from the CU hockey series.
I remembered enjoying Tyson a lot as side character in book 3 of the series, and being disappointed that he didn't end up being a love interest in one of the other books - then I found this free novella and was more than happy to see Tyson gets his romance too - and with Rossi, no less!
This one was only vaguely hockey adjacent, instead taking place mostly as the two charactes do an internship in the financial sector. This was only a backdrop though, albeit a very interesting and unusual one for such a light hearted romance where one characters is very flamboyantly queer.

Cute, short and sweet. I loved that Rossi was so accepting of his own sexuality, it may not be realistic 100% but it felt nice to read that.
