A really good, fun read. A medieval courting story about Camelot's heirs turned queer.
I found the pacing a bit slow, until the end - it seemed a little too fast by then.

witty and romantic! the first third was a bit slow but the plot and romance kicked in and made it a page turner in the end. a lovely queer historical romance.

♡ The Lady Gets the Knight (but make it Sapphic)

I loved the humor in this book.  The way the characters interacted was nicely done as well.

When I read this I wasn’t in much of a mood for it but pushed through and ended up really enjoying it.  The plot wasn’t too confusing as some fantasy books can be, but this kept my interest.  It was such an entertaining read.

And the queer rep was better than I was expecting actually.

I loved this book so so much!!! The romances were so cute and well written and the plot too!!
The twists and turns this story had?!?!? Also it was so funny xD
A cute queer camelot romcom! xD
Would 100% recommend!

The only thing that threw me of a bit in the beginning was the modern language, because the book plays in medieval times, but I got used to it quickly.

This was very fun - excellent prose, entertaining characters that I found myself invested in, good banter and pacing. The romance (and friendship!) between the characters was very cute. I think Gabriel was probably my favorite - I always wanted even more of him interacting with Arthur, and really enjoyed his internal conflict and complexity. (I also found the anachronistic language and occasional modern meme reference to be fun and charming, but I also love things like A Knight's Tale and the Locked Tomb series, so your mileage may vary there.)

This is such a fun Arthurian exploration. I found it both age-appropriate for YA and supremely entertaining to me, which is kind of a feat. The characters are nuanced and loveable, and it's silly at times but the heavier plot points are handled appropriately as well.

My biggest gripe is with the narrator for Art's perspective, who seems not to have understood the tone of anything they were reading. Inflection is completely missed. This really got in the way, for me.
