I enjoyed it, maybe not as much as the first book. The typos and grammar errors got really distracting in the middle of the book, but it got better by the end.

Ascension begins with Iza finally getting to her destination that is one more step to taking her place in life. But she is reluctant to do so, and still wants Phobe to come back as well. As things start to progress for her, she must figure out what is really going on, and how she is going to handle this life she was given.

Phobe is also struggling with new emotions, and things that he has recently discovered, but one thing he knows is he can't stay away from Iza any longer.

This book was good, not as good as the first one, but still really good. I was just sort of expecting a little bit more to happen in this one. I enjoyed Phobe and Iza together, and I loved how they handled things. I can't wait for more now.
