Feeling real good about my decision to take on this massive project of reading a Discworld book once every three months for a decade more than 6 years ago. This is the best one yet. I will never understand how someone can write almost *every* line to be incredibly funny and/or meaningful. This one does appeal to my weakness for journalism stories in general and Ankh-Morpork setting in the series, but PTerry really pulled out all the stops on this one. Looking forward to rereading this one day.

William de Worde is the first editor of the first newspaper in Ankh Morpork. With the help of the Dwarves and their printing press, his assistant editor Sacharissa Cripslock and the newly appointed vampire photographer Otto, de Worde manages to uncover a plot to remove Lord Vetinari by a cabal of wealthy men and two almost Dickensian killers.
This is one of the smartest and funniest Discworld novels and is up there with the best of them.
