Overall, a pretty par for the course thriller. Entertaining enough to keep my interest, but nothing particularly great about this book. Probably could've been about a hundred pages shorter. All in all, not too many thoughts on this one.
I was pretty annoyed that the story focuses on the main character and her brain injury, especially her issues with memory loss. I don't usually enjoy books that focus on that, and there was no mention of either of those things in the synopsis. Just PTSD and physical, emotional, and psychological scars. I wouldn't have picked this book up if it had mentioned that, and I'm a bit annoyed about feeling tricked into reading about something I ordinarily wouldn't.

This book was okay. I really liked john and Dana. However, I had figured out who dun it almost from the start. I would have liked to have been kept guessing. Overall it's a decent book, but not up to what I expect from Tami Hoag!

Tami Hoag never fails me when I'm looking for a good mystery. She is excellent in creating a page turning mystery that keeps you on the edge of your seat and guessing and this book was no exception! I definitely recommend this book (or any of Hoag's books for that matter) to anyone who is looking for a hearty murder mystery.

Enjoyable. I will definitely look into reading more books by her.

This is a stand alone book even though Kovac & Liska have a chapter in the initial investigation. This book really wasn't up to the usual suspense & good thriller that Tami usually writes. A little disappointed but I will still read her books

I enjoyed this book. In the beginning, I wasn't really sure where the author was going with the story. It evolved and I enjoyed the outcome. I will say that once again I projected how it was going to end. Still this was my second Tammy Hoag book and I am inclined to read more.
