I'm not a fan of short stories, but after getting the hang of how this book works i actually enjoyed it.. there's a lot of unsaid things, or given for granted, but overall it was not as bad as some people depicted it..

I thoroughly enjoyed this adventure novel; following Geralt around as he fought with monsters whilst upholding his Witcher pride and honor.

If you're a fan of the Netflix adapted series, you'll find a lot of those stories in here. It reads like a collection of short stories as each section jumps around on the time line and honestly, I enjoyed that. It kept the pace going and my interest piqued. The writing style was also really good as it is translated with, I feel (although what would I know really?!) all the original humour and charm.

Recommended for those who love adventurous quick reads with a hint of witty humour and sarcasm.

Very entertaining. It’s written in short stories, a fact I’m glad I knew before I started or would have been annoyed probably. But I’m glad I read this in conjunction with watching the show.

Omg I absolutely loved this book! After watching the series I kinda knew what to expect but. The book as always was better. The illustrations inside were stunning!

My favorite character as always was Yennifer. I love her story and her mannerisms. Geralt is written fantastically but when reading all I could hear in my head was Henry Cavels voice when Geralt spoke lol.
