This one improved a lot in terms of pacing, in relation to the first book. I enjoyed seeing the characters together more than how they began their relationship.

Well, I now understand why Beautiful Things couldn’t have an HEA. There was just TOO much story left, and it was finished in His Grace, The Duke. Where BT was a slow burn, HG,TD was a raging inferno. There was a lot of plot but there was a LOT of spice. I am now a forever fan of the why choose? regency romance category. Started #3 this morning and it covers Rosalie’s friend Madeline and I could not be more thrilled. Note: I did not like the audiobook narrators for these either.

Okay but like. Yes. Yes to all of it. Do I mind that the internal thoughts if the men was repetitive? A little. Do I mind that our perfect sirens personality was not as evident as the worshipful words from her lover's lips claimed? Kinda of. But everything else more than makes up for it! Also very glad this is a Duology. 2 books was perfect for this story.

This is book 2 and finishes the story so nicely.   They grow into a relationships with each other.   I love how they decide how they want to be together and don't care what society says.

I loved the ending too and can't wait to read the next book in the series, and hoping they show up at least a little
