A year older, a little *spicer*, but still no *spice* if you get my drift. Which I really appreciate seeing as they are still teens! I am enjoying the slow burn build up of these relationships. The characters and relationships are developing at a realistic pace in a very unrealistic world, which is fun to read. Excited for the next one, it's already downloaded and waiting for me!

I still have the same problems as I did with the previous book in this series, but I do appreciate even though our MC is a horney sisteen year old, there is no actual sex. Still.. I age up everyone to their thentees in my head when i read this series.

This book, like the first installment, needs your willing suspension of disbelief in order to work. But my god, it is so worth it!!
Imagine a grumpy protagonist, who knows how to kill a man with her bare hands, but she has no idea when the three guys she’s into are flirting with her. Like sure, she’s a badass but she’s still unable to even look them in the eye without blushing.
I mean, I nearly melted several times. It was so fucking wholesome to watch her discover these guys were into her. She was so overwhelmed and damn cute. Jesus, I love this protagonist who has the silliest of names that I still refuse to say. Life’s so unfair.
Her friendship with the girl in the group made me so happy. And the way this amazing found family pretty much adopted her... ah my heart.
This was still a slow burn romance. There are 3 mild kissing scenes but by the end, it looks like the next book may turn the heat up a little bit. Can’t wait to find out.

The start of Sophomore year Lips and Avery are thick of thieves. Harley starts to be nice to Lips. Lips has more things come after her. Between being the Wolf of Mount Bay she is just trying to survive high-school. This book was amazing. The boys start to warm up to Lips.
