Apart from being chaotic because of the written dialect he uses, it seems to me to be a simple work, telling the facts of his life in a straightforward way. It is exciting, it has made me think about my own transition that I am now going through hormonally and that I will soon have to develop. It is beautiful to see how her story evolves towards the end, despite the crudeness of the family facts, and above all the sincerity towards the rest of the characters (especially her friend). I love the idea of how she wrote it, it makes it authentic, local, and reflects a localism in an exceptional and creative way. Very good.

One of the best books I hav read in a long time. Personally I loved that it was written in Nottingham vernacular, it made it feel very intimate and immersive. Although it is autobiographical it is written like fiction which I enjoyed, I don't like when autobiographies feel like a factual retelling of events, I want to enjoy the story. One of the best examples of trans representation I've ever read.
