This book was difficult to get into at first because it starts when she’s so young. But for me, as she grew, I became more entrenched in the story. I loved reading about her experiences and how she just broke through so many barriers because she wanted to and because she could. It truly warmed my heart to get to the end and see all the ways the universe worked for Esmeralda and all the ways she made a true impact without even trying. She’s incredible and I’m just sad it took me so long to finally ready this one.
