As a whole, I'm not sure this series works. It is so out of order and so confused. But it is interesting and has good details. And the art is always good, as is the writing. Generally I want more than that out of series. I'd like to be able to describe this plot to someone, say a year from now. And I doubt I could do that even now.

Truly a fantastic run, one of my favorites of this era. My only issue with it is how much it is forced to jump through major cross overs. Reading straight through without knowing Marvel continuity makes you feel like you are missing some important elements of the story that are covered elsewhere. Also, while I kind of understand it, It is rather surprising that Secret War was not included in this.
