What such a riveting book! Really! That was cool time. And I rate this book 3.9 because something was lacking for me. I wanted that at the end there wold be something more than that what was. Like something more epic. More tragic or more "turning-pointly".

i didn't like main characters. i would give less stars but kids were adorable enough.

i think this couple breaks up after epilogue(i don't care they got engaged), he's not worthy enough for heroine or the kids as he said couple of times during the book...i just don't believe a 30 years old man who never wanted marriage or kids and never had a relationship can be happy with this life.
there's a line in romance books between unbelievable and dreamy and i didn't believe for a second that the hero can change

I can't believe I've waited so damn long to read one of Emma Chase's books, if they all are anything like this one, then I've just become your new stalker, Emma! ^_^

Jake Becker is relentless in the courtroom and irresistible in the bedroom, he has no trouble finding a new playmate for the night. He's a no strings attached sort of a guy, when the nights over he'll give you the riot act and continue on with his day.

Everything was going perfect until one day when he was heading out for lunch a young boy ran into him on the street, moments later he realized this little punk had stolen his wallet.

He never even realized the impact this boy and his siblings would have on him. His life was about to take a very drastic change, but will it be a good change or a bad one?

I definitely got caught up in everything Jake Becker, he's such a desirable hunk of a man, he'll make you go weak in the knees and you can't help but fall in love... sigh! ^_^

I just fell in love with those gorgeous children, they really brought a huge spark to the story, I'd love to share a little teaser with you that had me giggling like crazy (I could so see my kids doing this). After Jake had a big night of drinking he was woken up to this....

"I think he's dead."

"He's not dead---he's still breathing."

"Can you breathe if you're dead?"

"No. Well, maybe. But you'd need a ventilator."

Sniff, sniff.

"He smells like he's dead."

There's pressure against my eyelid. And then it's pried open---revealing Rosaleen's blurry peering face.

"Are you dead?" she yells.

Apparently she suspects I'm also deaf.

HAHAHAHA! Love it!! You'll need to read the book to find out what happens next. ^_^

I simply adored this story, from it's absolutely hilarious dialogues, to it's heart warming sensual moments. You'll be truly captivated.

The jury is out and the verdict is...PURE AWESOMENESS!!!

Looking for a hot, sexy lawyer? Then Jake Becker is the man for the job!

kids! there were so many kids! the mc's in a romance novel can be awful but if the kids are written well, i will read it just for the kids. luckily, i really liked reading from jake's perspective and unpeeling his layers. I actually don't think i have read a romance entirely from a male pov, so it was really interesting to see it done so well. i rate this book an overall riotous good time.
