Being a psychology graduate I was intrigued by the title. I wanted to know what goes on in a person's head when they're rescued after a suicide attempt. I was disappointed to later find out that it's a fiction novel. Alas, it was a good story. It was very realistic. 
I can't exactly put my finger on what I didn't exactly like in this book. Hence, 3 stars.

I think this book was good at not draggin  the plot,there were some funny points in the book but at the same time the way sexual assault is seen in the book isn't okay

I just wasn't a huge fan of this book. TW: there's a bit of sexual assault and anti-LGBTQ language but it's in a "internalized homophobia, I'm growing and learning as a character way" so I guess it's okay? It just caught me really off guard the first time the word queer was used as a synonym for weird. Also the use of f*g caught me off guard and I felt like it was a bit much. But other than that, there's a pretty good message with this book. It was a quick read, only took me about a day and I probably won't reread it.

This book I feel like isn't like my other 5 star books, but after reading it I feel like it's what it deserves. Who know, maybe I'll change the rating after a few days of letting it settle in my brain but for now it's a five star read to me.

it’s hard to explain this book is good and it keep you entertained but it’s also kind of boring at the same time. the whole time is mainly focused on the relationships between the two main characters for the one to eventually die
