TRIGGER WARNINGS FOR THE BOOK:
SA, coercion of sex, attempted suicide, suicide, self harm (burning/cutting), EDs

Jeff’s progress throughout his stay at the psychiatric hospital was a great mix for a book filled with emotion, humor, & darkness. Not many would understand the intensity of this story if they have not been in a similar situation as the multiple characters in this book.

I love the sarcasm and character development in the book. I did not expect the plot twists, but i really liked it. Personally this book has a very interesting perspective and point of view that I haven’t seen that often. This book is all about recovering from suicide attempt, and understanding your feelings. Very eye opening and inclusive with LGBTQ+ characters.

I didn't know one could fit so many atrocious descriptions of
Spoilersexual activities
in a book about KIDS in a psychiatric ward. In fact it contains so many of them, there wasn't enough space for any character development and accuracy of being in such a facility. [At least as far as I got.] It's so disgusting. I wish I could erase my memories of reading it. Maybe I'm overdramatic, but I cannot imagine who was targeted public for this one. Certainly not for children and neither for adults. What hit me the most is how terribly portraited are teenagers with mental issues-
Spoilerpeople whose the worst tragedy is going through heart problems and attempting suicide "cuz they feel like it".
Moreover it may be harmful due to beautifying act of killing oneself and treating sexual abuse as something normal.
