This book is my favorite so far out of this series. Molly and her anxiety is intensely relatable and there were even a few scenes where she’s sharing herself that I cried. When she talked about shapeshifting and being “on”, I knew exactly what she was talking about and after reading the end acknowledgments I feel that maybe some of Molly is based on Denise.

If that’s so, you are not alone either. Neither of you are so no matter which one of you struggles with anxiety, we see you. I see you. This book made me feel seen.

Matthew reminded me so much of my husband. Giving Molly the strength to stand on her own. That’s a parallel I was able to draw in my own life.

The edition of a Christmas in this book was MAGICAL. It didn’t revolve around the entire holiday but it enhanced the magic that was already happening. I loved everything about Molly’s experience with the Hudson family and I might have cried during a few of those scenes too. Maybe even when she made the snowcat of Bear….

I am so happy that I signed up for an eARC of this book and this review is 100% my own. If you struggle with any form of anxiety, you may relate to Molly. If you struggle with feeling like you fit in, or like you’re not enough, you may relate to Molly. This book might help you heal. Grab it up!
