An OK entry to the Stage Dive series. I haven't read all the novellas, so I'm sure I missed a few nuances, but overall this felt like a decent way to pass a couple of hours, but nothing earth-shattering. I did like that it was a bodyguard romance that actually held to the boundaries of professionalism....for the most part.

I know this was a novella but I do wish we had gotten some of the relationship in the story. It was still an enjoyable read.

It’s not great or terrible. I think I would have enjoyed this better if it was a full, fleshed our novel. I adore the premise. I wanted to feel the tension and lead up. I feel like I barely had time to invest in the main characters. It’s just a bite of cake when you would prefer a whole piece.
