Exactly what I needed right now. A stereotypical romantic story!

I think this book has become my favorite Jill Mansell book. The characters in this one are so lovely and aren't engaging in petty or obnoxious games (Cough cough Nadia cough cough), and what makes this love story so wonderful is that the core of it is about Dexter Yates, former playboy and bachelor, who falls in love with his niece, Delphi, and it sends his life on a whirlwind journey. He goes from a modern apartment in the big city to a cute cottage situation in a small town, and while he does find romantic love along the way, the love and devotion he has for his little niece is absolutely incredible and I think the real jewel in this book.

I loved Molly and I loved Dex, but most of all I loved baby Delphi. The relationship was full of ups and downs, but it was obvious it would all come right in the end, no matter that they went through a few partners and there were a fair few misunderstandings - hey, it wouldn't be chicklit without them.

A delightful read! This touching novel is about Dex, a real city playboy, who suddenly finds himself responsible for his sister's newborn baby. This of course forces him to not only change his lifestyle, but his address as well. Hence he moves to a quiet little village. The storyline then broadens to include the resident villagers, their personal relationships, problems and joys. A very enjoyable read!
